About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and grow the company’s owned audience on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Build a demand-generation engine through Social Media, turning content and audience into traffic, leads, conversations, and sales.
  • Define and execute the brand presence strategy across relevant social channels.
  • Produce customized social media content, raising the standard for short-form video and discovery content.
  • Structure and manage a creator and micro-influencer program with performance-based partnerships.
  • Turn social channels into paths for opportunity generation and sales.
  • Structure and optimize flows involving DMs, links, landing pages, automations, communities, and conversational tools.
  • Identify the content, messaging, formats, and creators with the greatest ability to generate attention and response.
  • Turn the best organic content into inputs for paid media campaigns.
  • Work with the media team in a continuous testing and learning routine across organic content and performance marketing.
  • Collaborate with Growth, Branding, CRM, Media, Sales, Product, and other teams involved in the student journey.
  • Define, together with Analytics, how to measure the impact of the work, attributed sales, growth in brand searches, and conversion.
  • Success will be measured by sessions and leads generated, growth in brand searches and direct traffic, conversations and sales originating from the channel, and content/social proof leveraged in paid media.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • More than 3 years of experience in social media, including experience in direct-sales operations (e-commerce, edtech, or digital products)—not just institutional branding.
  • Hands-on, execution-oriented profile.
  • Comfortable working in highly autonomous environments.
  • Short-form video portfolio demonstrating measurable business results, not just awards or engagement.
  • Strong data skills: funnel analysis, understanding of attribution, and the ability to support decisions with numbers.
  • Ability to independently produce content.
  • Preferred: experience in education, digital products, marketplaces, e-commerce, or digital businesses.
  • Preferred: experience with creator, influencer, or affiliate programs.
  • Preferred: experience with UGC and social-proof production.
  • Preferred: experience generating leads through content and creating performance-oriented content.
  • Preferred: knowledge of conversational automation and tools such as ManyChat and AI tools such as Claude.
  • Preferred: familiarity with AI tools applied to content production, editing, research, and productivity.
  • Preferred: experience with customer service and conversion through DMs or communities.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (40 hours per week).
