About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support external stakeholder outreach and engagement events
- Coordinate domestic and international protocol-sensitive events, media appearances, and partner meetings
- Manage venue logistics, RSVPs, attendee communications, travel planning, itineraries, event materials, and on-site event support
- Provide logistical, administrative, and correspondence support
- Support live and virtual stakeholder and industry engagement events
- Manage guest check-in and reception
- Coordinate audiovisual setup, operation, and support
- Maintain agenda discipline through timekeeping
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time
- Coordinate with facility and IT support staff
- Lead discovery and planning through stakeholder interviews, event content audits, assessments, and current-state analyses
- Translate insights into event management frameworks and actionable plans
- Advise clients and shape strategies to help achieve their goals
- Serve as a primary client feedback conduit to GXG leadership
- Execute client initiatives proactively and guide decisions using data and best practices
- Represent the Granicus Experience Group at industry conferences and workshops in the U.S. and internationally
- Maintain expertise in Granicus products and upcoming platform enhancements
- Propose product enhancements based on client needs
- Preserve the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Granicus information assets
- Ensure employee and customer data privacy and complete required privacy training
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-10 years of events management, consulting, digital strategy, user experience, or customer experience, preferably serving government or at a government agency
- Proficiency in core Digital Communications, Events Management, and CX skills
- External stakeholder engagement experience required
- Proficiency in digital-communications tools; Granicus products preferred
- Experience with email marketing, online collaboration, CRM, event management systems, online forms, and social networks
- Solid written, verbal, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills in a client-facing capacity
- Experience digesting data and deriving actionable insights
- Ability to use digital tools, technologies, and trends for client success
- Strategic thinking, independence, autonomy, and sound judgment
- Ability to work flexibly in a changing environment and under pressure
- Ability to manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience and/or enthusiasm for working with government
- Experience supporting live and virtual stakeholder and industry engagement events
- Ability to provide event-day support, including check-in, audiovisual coordination, timekeeping, troubleshooting, and coordination with facility and IT staff
- Ability to lead stakeholder interviews, event content audits, assessments, and communications/logistics analyses
- Ability to act as a trusted client advisor and feedback conduit
- Ability to represent GXG at U.S. and international conferences and workshops as needed
- Ability to become an expert on Granicus products and future product developments
- Commitment to Granicus information security and data privacy requirements
