About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, grow, and manage strategic customer relationships
  • Serve as an industry subject matter adviser in government CX, public engagement, communications, consultation, or digital services
  • Create and deliver presentations and proposals addressing customer or prospect needs
  • Support delivery teams in managing scope, timelines, execution, and acceptance
  • Empower and guide individual contributors through career-pathing, performance monitoring and evaluation, professional development alignment, and company growth
  • Train and elevate internal teams in consultative solutions development, sales, development, strategy, and implementation
  • Align customer programs, agency objectives, and mission objectives to improve CX outcomes
  • Design and deliver strategic program reviews for executive agency stakeholders
  • Identify and develop customer engagement and recognition opportunities
  • Drive organic growth through the existing book of business and relationships
  • Create demand for Granicus services and solutions with customers
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape new services based on customer demand and insight
  • Represent the voice of the customer to inform company solutions and processes
  • Represent Granicus in speaking roles, panels, and internal or external engagements as a public-sector thought leader
  • Participate in pre-sales alignment, experience definition, project kickoff, customer check-ins, executive relationship building, and program ownership
  • Maintain customer relationships, serve as primary point of contact, ensure operational compliance, protect revenues, mitigate churn, and generate upsell and cross-sell opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7-10 years of experience in digital services, managing a portfolio of projects including scoping, delivery, quality assurance, and program growth
  • Preferably an understanding of human-centered design best practices and approaches
  • Ability to serve as a trusted, strategic adviser to top government leaders
  • Experience collaborating with and managing expectations of senior government executives is a plus
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and successful track record of customer or project P&L management
  • Passion for public service, citizen engagement, service transformation, and communication
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for internal and external relationship-building at all organizational levels, including C-suite and customers
  • Self-motivated, flexible problem solver able to manage routine work and adapt quickly
  • Ability to thrive in a lean, self-propelling, proactive environment
  • Commitment to diversity of thought and consideration of different ideas
  • Must be a U.S. military veteran and able to verify veteran status during hiring
  • Responsible for preserving the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company information assets
  • Responsible for ensuring employee and customer data privacy and completing required privacy training
