About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and monitor multiple client services teams on client engagements
  • Plan, execute, direct, and complete international tax projects
  • Provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients
  • Manage engagements to budget
  • Manage delivery of international tax services
  • Advise U.S. and foreign multinational companies on tax implications of international operations
  • Coordinate U.S. and foreign tax laws to develop efficient worldwide tax strategies
  • Consult with clients on tax-efficient structuring of international transactions
  • Advise on effective use of tax treaties, offshore investment activities, and repatriation strategies
  • Conduct primary and secondary reviews of complicated or complex international tax returns
  • Collaborate with partners, managers, associates, and global teammates on client service and new business development
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Minimum five to seven years of progressive tax consulting experience, preferably with at least three years focused on international taxation
  • Experience with a large accounting firm, law firm, or corporate tax department of a multinational company
  • CPA or JD/active law license required
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills
  • Proficiency in U.S. tax compliance and consulting
  • Strong computer expertise, including knowledge of tax software and technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
