About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver a full range of tax and transfer pricing services for multiple clients across industries and market segments
  • Oversee and direct multiple client service teams on engagements
  • Plan, execute, direct, and complete transfer pricing projects
  • Provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise
  • Market, sell, design, and implement tax-planning strategies
  • Manage engagements to budget
  • Advise U.S. and foreign multinational companies on international tax implications
  • Coordinate U.S. and foreign tax laws to develop efficient worldwide tax strategies
  • Lead and support business development, proposal development, and pursuit activities
  • Develop project vision and set personal and client service team goals
  • Ensure quality assurance for managed service offerings
  • Facilitate client understanding of international tax development implications
  • Collaborate with partners, managers, associates, service lines, and industries
  • Attract, develop, and retain Tax Practice talent
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field required
  • Master's in taxation/LLM, Master of Economics, PhD in Economics, Finance, Business Statistics, Tax or Supply Chain, Engineering, MBA, other advanced degree, related certification or relevant experience required
  • Minimum eight years of progressive tax and transfer pricing experience in public accounting, consulting, or academia
  • Experience in tax and transfer pricing management in an integrated client service team
  • Ability to manage and develop staff in a highly interactive team environment
  • Demonstrated experience in practice development, business development, and managing other managers
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology
  • Ability to travel as needed
