About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in developing and maintaining actuarial models for risk assessment and pricing strategies
  • Analyze datasets to identify trends and provide preliminary insights for decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
  • Generally, a minimum of 6 months of actuarial experience
  • Passed 1 or more exams toward Associateship in the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS)
  • Proficient in various actuarial techniques
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and across departments
  • Knowledge of changes in regulations and industry trends
  • Participation in professional development activities to stay current with actuarial best practices
  • Continued eligibility in the Actuarial Student Program and ongoing progress toward Fellowship expected for advancement within the actuary track
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship
