About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Delivers expert guidance on policies, procedures, and risk evaluation for highly complex or high-exposure cases
  • Establishes and interprets company guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry standards to ensure compliance and profitability
  • Provides support on specialty financial based or other accounts as necessary
  • Grows and maintains the closure/post closure book of business
  • Serves as subject matter expert for Division training programs
  • Participates in the file audit program and assists with development of the product line audit program
  • Works with the Division President, CUO, and Underwriting Director on annual data call and reinsurance treaty renewal submission development
  • Supports gathering and evaluating data for Division and Home Office reporting
  • Works with the CUO on forms, endorsements, regulatory affairs, guidelines, policies, and protocols
  • Analyzes and forecasts portfolio and segment performance; develops and recommends strategic appetite, pricing, and workflow initiatives
  • Supports regulatory filings, policy language, endorsements, and insurance procedures, including legal review, form control, system updates, and change management
  • Collaborates with insurance, product, compliance, and distribution teams to resolve escalated issues and align on risk strategies
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, business administration, finance or related field
  • Generally, 8-10 years of experience in Environmental Insurance
  • Prior reinsurance experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of policy forms, filings, and product development processes
  • Strong analytical skills
  • High comfort level with technology
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship
