About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast future financial performance and assess potential risks and opportunities
  • Lead the development of long-term financial plans and annual budgets aligned with corporate objectives
  • Update forecasts to reflect changes in business conditions and market trends and reconcile internal accounts
  • Track and analyze KPIs and financial metrics to evaluate the company’s financial health
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports and dashboards to senior management and stakeholders, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Identify and assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal controls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support operational and strategic initiatives
  • Communicate complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences, including non-financial stakeholders
  • Drive continuous process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and value creation
  • Provide technical advice and support to lower-level positions, management, and other departments
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Generally, 6 or more years of experience in Financial Analysis or Accounting
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry preferred
  • Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred, such as Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting techniques
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel and financial planning software
  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools; CoPilot preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data to analyze situations, identify problems, and develop effective solutions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to evolving business conditions and strategic priorities
  • Ability to provide technical advice and support to lower-level positions, management, and other departments
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship
