Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Passion for shaping students' hearts and minds
  • US work authorization is required; OPT/CPT candidates accepted
  • Employment contingent upon successful completion of a criminal history background check and fingerprint clearance in accordance with state requirements
  • Some locations (e.g. Title I schools) may require an AA, 60 hours of college credit, or passing a ParaPro proficiency exam before beginning work
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers to support instruction, student learning, and daily classroom activities
  • Ability to uphold school policies and promote an orderly, professional learning environment
  • Participation in faculty meetings, school events, conferences, and assigned duties
  • Ongoing professional growth and deepening knowledge of the classical tradition
