About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage planning, scheduling, and administration of standardized assessments across Great Hearts Online School
  • Coordinate operational planning and administration for STAAR and other assigned assessments
  • Develop and maintain testing calendars, timelines, SOPs, and stakeholder communications
  • Coordinate online and in-person testing requirements across grade levels and programs
  • Maintain testing rosters, records, participation data, make-up opportunities, and student testing needs
  • Identify and secure in-person testing locations and coordinate facility requirements
  • Coordinate student accommodations, proctor training, medical alerts, custody arrangements, and safety considerations
  • Communicate with families to resolve testing barriers and maximize compliance
  • Audit enrollment and student-status changes affecting testing requirements
  • Coordinate testing devices, accessories, inventories, readiness tests, and distribution at in-person locations
  • Create parent-facing testing-day communications
  • Determine staffing needs and assign, schedule, and communicate with testing personnel
  • Enter At-Risk PEIMS in PowerSchool
  • Work with the College Counselor on EOC, SAT, and PSAT testing
  • Plan testing logistics, secure materials, and coordinate with state and district testing teams
  • Oversee secure test administration and collection of test materials
  • Maintain test integrity, ethical testing practices, security, and data-reporting compliance
  • Analyze test results and provide written interpretations for teachers
  • Train teachers and support staff on testing and formative assessments
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement assessments and improve school performance
  • Attend testing workshops and coordinate travel for testing personnel
  • Monitor and staff the San Antonio office at least two days per week
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate shipping and receiving
  • Respond to Slack messages, emails, calls, and support requests within one business day
  • Communicate testing risks, missed deadlines, discrepancies, staffing concerns, and barriers
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of student information and testing materials
  • Provide customer service and assist families with testing barriers
  • Support the Director of Organizational Operations with testing-related initiatives and special projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in information technology, education, business administration, or a related field
  • Experience working in educational technology support, CTC coordination, or school operations preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, faculty, and technical support teams
  • Must live in San Antonio area
  • Ability to work in CST and AZ time zones
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Successful completion of a criminal history background check and fingerprint clearance in accordance with state requirements
  • Ability to travel locally for training and professional development opportunities
