About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report exclusives about listings, deals under contract, settlements, financing arrangements, development projects and other relevant news
- Write sophisticated analysis pieces about market trends ahead of the competition
- Conduct interviews with senior industry leaders for insightful Q+As
- Leverage relationships among agents, developers and other market professionals to establish exclusive news coverage in the institutional-investor space
- Collaborate with senior journalists to produce exclusive commercial real estate news and ensure smooth publication of daily content
- Collaborate with Green Street News journalists across geographies on international deals, capital flows and market trends
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of reporting experience with a daily newspaper, online information service or weekly publication
- A “nose for news” and a track record of breaking major stories on a regular basis
- Business or property reporting news experience strongly preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of finance, banking and private lending industries is a plus
- Must be currently authorized to work in Australia without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Full-time position
