About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Source lateral associates and shareholder candidates for open and anticipated positions
  • Leverage Firm Prospects, Pirical, and LinkedIn Recruiter to develop target candidate lists
  • Conduct proactive outreach and cultivate an excellent candidate experience
  • Assist with initial candidate screening and qualification discussions
  • Perform legal market research, competitor analysis, and talent intelligence reporting
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in Workday, including interview activity and recruiting metrics
  • Assist with attorney recruitment for summer associates, lateral shareholders, lateral associates, and alternative track attorneys
  • Support on-campus recruiting by preparing materials, scheduling callback interviews, following up with attorneys, and coordinating candidate communications
  • Oversee day-to-day Summer Associate Program functions, including training, work assignments, evaluations, and social events
  • Draft and update job postings; review and process resumes in Workday and generate reports
  • Manage applicant databases and prepare offer packages
  • Coordinate in-person or virtual interviews and gather candidate feedback
  • Interface with candidates and legal search firms, provide correspondence, and submit background check requests
  • Network with career services to reach law students
  • Assist with other department activities and perform additional assigned duties
  • Report to the Attorney Talent Acquisition Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or related field preferred
  • Five to eight years of related attorney recruiting in a mid-to-large law firm setting or executive search experience
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and engaging passive candidates
  • Familiarity with talent/competitive intelligence reporting
  • High attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Professional demeanor and presentation
  • Ability to interact effectively with candidates, firm personnel, and external clients
  • Superior judgment and discretion
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Analytical and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and collaborate in a team
  • Critical thinking and ability to manage changing priorities
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to learn new software applications quickly
  • Experience with Workday, Firm Prospects, Pirical, and/or LinkedIn Recruiter a plus
  • Understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use in a professional environment
  • Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, firm-approved AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT
