About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Join Greenberg Traurig’s Revenue Management Department as a Legal Billing Specialist
Edit prebills via Prebill Viewer and Aderant based on Billing Attorney requests
Generate a high volume of complex client invoices via Aderant
Ensure invoices comply with billing guidelines
Compile required supporting documentation before invoice submission
Submit electronic bills via EHub with supporting documentation
Monitor and immediately address invoice rejections, reductions, and appeals
Respond to billing inquiries
Undertake special projects and prepare ad hoc reports as needed
Report to the Billing Manager of Revenue Management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Legal Biller required
Aderant or Elite/3E preferred
Experience with Prebill Viewer, E-billing Hub, and Bill Blast
Proficiency in Excel required
Basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), including core capabilities, limitations, data privacy, accuracy, verification, and ethical considerations
Familiarity with or willingness to learn AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools
Ability to incorporate AI responsibly into day-to-day workflows
Proactive approach to learning and adapting to emerging AI and related technologies
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Ability to work under minimal supervision and proactively in a team setting
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Initiative, good judgment, and excellent follow-up skills
Ability to identify billing issues and provide possible solutions
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships within all levels of the firm
