About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with the Real Estate marketing team, practice leadership, attorneys, and marketing colleagues on strategic marketing and business development initiatives
  • Support business development plans aligned with department growth objectives, client priorities, market opportunities, and cross-selling initiatives
  • Monitor real estate industry trends, market developments, client sectors, and competitor activity
  • Develop, update, and manage practice descriptions, representative matters, experience databases, deal lists, and client-targeting resources
  • Coordinate and contribute to proposals, pitches, RFPs, capability statements, presentations, and other client-facing materials
  • Support attorneys in identifying and pursuing new business and relationship-expansion opportunities
  • Track transactions, client successes, rankings submissions, awards opportunities, and related experience
  • Coordinate practice group meetings and department calls; prepare agendas, capture action items, and monitor strategic initiatives
  • Draft, edit, and distribute client alerts, newsletters, legal updates, speaking engagement materials, award submissions, and promotional content
  • Assist with planning and executing client events, conferences, sponsorships, charitable initiatives, and related collateral
  • Support strategic and ad hoc marketing and business development projects
  • Report to the Senior Practice Development Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of five years of experience in marketing, business development, or professional services marketing
  • Law firm experience preferred
  • Experience supporting a real estate legal practice, commercial real estate business, or professional services organization strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate terminology, industry participants, and market dynamics preferred
  • Strong client-service orientation and ability to build trusted relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including editing, proofreading, and content development
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strategic thinking and effective day-to-day execution
  • Proactive problem-solving, initiative, accountability, and sound judgment
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global team
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and professionalism
  • High proficiency using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using firm-approved AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms
  • Ability to validate AI outputs and maintain accountability for final deliverables
  • Understanding of privacy, confidentiality, and appropriate human oversight in responsible AI use
