About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the service lifecycle from vendor purchase-order generation through job closeout
  • Coordinate with Sales, vendors, contractors, customers, and internal partners to align requirements, timing, and deliverables
  • Serve as the primary customer-facing contact, provide proactive status updates, and resolve routine customer issues
  • Track project activity, identify risks and trends, and maintain detailed service documentation
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to support timely service delivery
  • Manage and document routine change orders within defined authority limits, escalating non-routine or higher-risk changes
  • Review and resolve routine invoice discrepancies and adjustments; escalate complex issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex service issues using process and product knowledge
  • Document service calls, product questions, and field issues, and monitor accounts and projects to prevent delays
  • Identify process-improvement opportunities and partner with more senior Service Specialists on implementation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Associate degree or equivalent years of job experience
  • Strong customer service, communication, initiative, professionalism, quality, and productivity skills
  • Ability to problem solve independently within established guidelines
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Excel, and project-management software such as Procore is preferred
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone
  • Ability to perform sedentary work and occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds
  • Close visual acuity for preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
  • Occasional mobility to attend in-person meetings and complete office tasks
