Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct complex data collection, reporting, and analysis to monitor, evaluate, and increase LSCC efficiencies
Perform detailed data analysis and research for financial estimates and operational deliverables
Provide results and monitor and implement data quality improvements
Collaborate with teams to examine systems, people, policies, and processes and identify performance opportunities
Analyze data using statistical tools, methods, and techniques
Consult with customers and staff to identify user needs
Compile and query data; identify gaps, errors, anomalies, inconsistencies, and redundancies
Interpret data differences, patterns, trends, and quality
Clean and prune irrelevant data
Prepare technical reports, identify alternatives, and make and justify recommendations
Assist with data standards, quality measures, statistical modeling, and graphical analysis
Create documentation for new developments, updates, and enhancements
Develop and implement data collection systems, analytics, and optimization strategies as needed
Perform quality assurance and support data integrity, extraction, compilation, and data management tools
Provide guidance to others and perform related work as assigned
Travel to other LSCC facilities as needed

What you’ll need

Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the office
Ability to work onsite at least one day per week, as well as additional days when required for meetings, training, team collaboration, or other business needs
Experience in data, reporting or business analytics
Experience in gathering requirements for reporting
Experience in healthcare, Medicaid, or other medical report data preferred
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in data science, business analytics, computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, accounting, finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field generally preferred
Knowledge of SQL preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate data into actionable business insights
Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
