About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the EMEA B2B influencer marketing strategy across knowledge workers, business decision-makers, and developer audiences
  • Build a network of developer creators, technical educators, open-source voices, AI builders, and community leaders across Europe
  • Develop differentiated creator plans for the UK, France, and Germany
  • Source, evaluate, brief, negotiate with, contract, activate, and manage creator relationships
  • Design curated creator programmes and high-value experiences including briefings, product access, learning sessions, roundtables, community moments, and co-created formats
  • Build an always-on creator portfolio across tutorials, product demonstrations, thought leadership, executive content, social posts, newsletters, podcasts, video, and community formats
  • Manage existing influencer and marketing agencies and select, onboard, and manage new specialist agencies
  • Develop paid amplification strategies with the media agency, including targeting, usage rights, whitelisting, testing, optimisation, and organic-versus-paid performance reporting
  • Partner with Performance Marketing and Growth teams on influencer content that drives measurable performance and business growth
  • Operationalise the end-to-end influencer process, including creator discovery, due diligence, brand-safety review, scopes of work, contracting, approvals, disclosure, compliance, content calendars, asset management, localisation, paid rights, and post-campaign learning
  • Set programme and campaign goals and build a measurement framework connecting creator activity to audience and business outcomes
  • Define and report scorecards covering reach, relevance, engagement quality, content completion, saves, traffic, product education, developer activation, adoption signals, and pipeline influence
  • Establish regular reporting and performance reviews with recommendations on creators, formats, platforms, markets, and investments
  • Manage budgets, agency scopes, creator fees, usage rights, and production investment
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Developer Marketing and Relations, Comms, Creative, Legal, Privacy, Brand, Media, regional marketers, and GTM teams
  • Bring creator and community insights into OpenAI regarding emerging voices, platform shifts, audience questions, content opportunities, and risks
  • Build a trusted European B2B and developer creator network and establish a repeatable influencer marketing growth and education channel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, B2B content, developer marketing, or an adjacent discipline, including substantial ownership of influencer programmes
  • Existing network of relevant creators, agents, managers, platforms, and specialist agencies, particularly in technology, AI, SaaS, developer tools, or adjacent categories
  • Proven track record of building influencer programmes for developer or highly technical audiences
  • Experience taking an influencer or creator programme from zero to one
  • Experience building curated creator programmes and long-term strategic partnerships
  • Ability to develop creator strategies for knowledge workers and business decision-makers
  • Experience operating across multiple European markets, especially the UK, France, and Germany
  • Fluent English required; French and/or German is a strong advantage
  • Experience directly managing agencies and creator partners, including selection, onboarding, briefing, negotiation, contracting, production, usage rights, paid amplification, and performance management
  • Understanding of organic and paid creator distribution mechanics and economics
  • Strong analytical ability, including goal setting, measurement design, performance analysis, and recommendations
  • Strong editorial and technical judgment with operational rigor
  • Ability to balance creator authenticity with accuracy, brand safety, compliance, and message integrity
  • Strategic and hands-on approach to building and operating influencer programmes
  • Ability to build trust and communicate clearly with creators, agencies, marketers, technical teams, and senior stakeholders
  • Motivation to help developers, businesses, and knowledge workers understand and adopt AI responsibly
  • Based in London with three days per week in the office
  • Regular travel across Europe required
  • Legal right to work in the location applied for without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
