About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the day-to-day APAC finance function across all regional entities under Manager oversight
- Manage, develop, and support the regional finance team
- Act as the primary finance contact for operational and Client Services teams
- Own month-end close across APAC entities within a 3–5 working day timetable
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of management accounts, including revenue recognition, accruals, and cut-off
- Maintain balance sheet integrity and reconciliations across entities
- Own consolidated management reporting and provide commercial insight
- Prepare monthly EMM and IMM management meeting decks
- Own the 4MF revenue forecast and lead weekly forecast calls
- Coordinate the twice-yearly budget process and lead monthly variance analysis
- Own profitability analysis, freelance and project cost control, and Paprika cost rates
- Manage tax and statutory compliance across Singapore and Indonesia
- Coordinate the annual audit and resolve audit queries
- Own rolling cash flow forecasts, banking relationships, FX, intercompany settlements, and debtor collections
- Partner with Client Services and operational teams on project performance, budgets, and profitability
- Strengthen controls and own financial models, dashboards, and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement in month-end, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Provide monthly performance updates to the Manager and promptly escalate material finance issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- CPA (Philippines) required or strongly preferred; ACCA, CIMA, CGMA, or equivalent qualification an advantage
- 8+ years’ experience in accounting and finance, including financial reporting, control, and forecasting
- Experience running or leading a finance function or team
- Previous experience in a marketing, digital, media, or creative agency environment preferable
- Exposure to project-based revenue, client billing cycles, and project profitability reporting
- Proven people-management experience, including managing team members remotely across locations and time zones
- Experience owning tax and statutory compliance across more than one jurisdiction; regional experience a strong advantage
- Strong track record in multi-currency, multi-entity environments
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Confidence and judgement to run a finance function with limited day-to-day supervision and know what to escalate
- Clear communication skills and ability to present financial information to non-finance and senior stakeholders
- Experience with the Paprika system advantageous
- Complete written and verbal fluency in English essential
