About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the deployment, adoption, and sustainment of DNV's Operational Excellence framework across DDS
- Partner with leaders and teams to identify, prioritize, and implement improvement opportunities
- Facilitate structured problem-solving workshops and continuous improvement initiatives
- Apply Operational Excellence tools and methodologies, including Lean principles, standard work, visual management, and root-cause analysis
- Support improvement pilots and initiatives that drive efficiency, quality, scalability, and customer value
- Coach managers and teams in Operational Excellence practices and continuous improvement methods
- Ensure local practices align with global Operational Excellence standards, governance, and roadmaps
- Track improvement activities, share lessons learned, and support benefit realization
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to improve processes and ways of working across DDS
- Deliver Operational Excellence training sessions, workshops, and awareness activities
- Escalate risks, blockers, and decision needs in a structured and timely manner
- Contribute to building a strong culture of continuous improvement across the organization
- Occasional international travel may be required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Practical experience in Operational Excellence, Lean, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, Agile, DevOps, or related methodologies
- Proven experience improving processes, productivity, efficiency, or operational performance with measurable results
- Experience facilitating workshops, improvement initiatives, or change activities involving cross-functional teams
- Experience coaching or supporting teams and managers in adopting new ways of working
- Experience working in digital, software, technology, or other knowledge-based environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within structured governance frameworks, standards, or improvement programs
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent preferred
- Experience in change management or organizational transformation preferred
- Experience from management consulting, process improvement consulting, or business transformation initiatives preferred
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices from a continuous improvement perspective preferred
- Experience from software development, SaaS, digital product organizations, or technology companies preferred
- Passion for continuous improvement and creating meaningful business impact
- Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working independently
- Structured and analytical, with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Able to influence and build trust without formal authority
- Effective communicator who can engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborative and relationship oriented
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic and evolving digital environment
- Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn
