About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the technical components of the sales process for DACH enterprise and government accounts
- Partner with Account Executives to understand customer needs and demonstrate product value
- Lead Proofs of Value and address technical requirements or concerns
- Serve as the technical lead during the sales process
- Lead technical discovery and deliver customized product demos and workshops
- Design, execute, and support successful PoVs and pilots
- Demonstrate workflows for security operations, threat intelligence, threat hunting, and vulnerability prioritization
- Validate integrations and automation using APIs, scripting, and supported security platforms
- Understand customers' environments, challenges, and desired outcomes
- Respond to RFIs/RFPs and assist in crafting technical proposals
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience to capture and incorporate feedback
- Represent GreyNoise at industry events, webinars, and customer briefings
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture roles in the cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS space
- Understanding of network security and internet-facing threats
- Deep familiarity with threat intelligence, SIEM/SOAR/TIP, and incident response workflows
- Strong understanding of enterprise security architectures and technical decision-making
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with API integrations and scripting, such as Python
- Experience with tools like curl and JSON
- Ability to present technical content to engineering teams and executive stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Professional fluency in English
- Availability for customer and partner travel across EMEA
