About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a portfolio of active assignments.
- Lead the creation and optimization of comprehensive financial models for strategic decision-making.
- Develop and refine assumptions, parameters, and scenarios under Managers' guidance.
- Discuss commercial issues with clients and accurately reflect them in models.
- Perform sensitivity analysis and stress testing to validate model assumptions and outputs.
- Contribute to financial modeling methodologies and tools.
- Prepare model documentation covering assumptions, methodologies, and results.
- Maintain records of modeling processes and methodologies.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Lead a team of modeling professionals.
- Train, motivate, and manage junior team members.
- Collaborate with team members on assignments.
- Communicate model findings and insights to clients and internal teams.
- Simplify complex financial model issues for non-technical stakeholders.
- Support business development and growth ambitions.
- Lead client pitch development.
- Lead client calls and build client relationships.
Requirements
What you’ll need- We hire exceptional individuals who can demonstrate our core values of Drive, Innovation, Collaboration and Excellence.
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in a financial role within a recognized advisory practice or large corporate setting.
- A good appreciation of accounting concepts; an accounting qualification is beneficial.
- An in-depth understanding of Project Finance, Corporate Finance or Financial Planning concepts.
- Strong analytical skills with proven experience in building and operating financial models using Excel.
- Degree qualified in a numerate discipline; a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance is beneficial.
- Experience with the FAST financial modeling standard is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
