About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise hiring managers on recruiting best practices, HR compliance, company policies and departmental procedures
  • Coordinate with Human Resources, hiring managers and staffing reports to confirm staffing needs
  • Update active requisition data in the Applicant Tracking System weekly
  • Manage the ATS and document requisitions, applicant activity, candidate status, interview notes, feedback and related paperwork
  • Partner with approved recruiting agencies as needed
  • Conduct intake calls with hiring managers and establish interview schedules and recruitment strategies
  • Source and recruit qualified candidates through active and passive methods using Indeed, LinkedIn and other recruiting tools
  • Assess candidates through daily and weekly quality screenings
  • Coordinate candidate and hiring-manager interviews, including travel itineraries when necessary
  • Provide recruiting updates to stakeholders and track progress toward recruiting goals
  • Draft and extend verbal and formal offer letters by the next business day and assist with negotiations
  • Track and communicate candidate progress toward offer acceptance
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with hiring managers, HR partners and company stakeholders
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, related field or equivalent work-related experience required
  • Three or more years of experience with full-cycle, high-volume recruiting required
  • Human resources professional certification preferred but not required
  • Working understanding of talent acquisition and/or human resource principles, practices and procedures
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems required
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (Workday) preferred
  • Proficiency with job boards and resume mining platforms required (Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook and SharePoint required
  • Proven customer service experience with both internal and external customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Occasional travel up to 15% to Groundworks corporate office, branch locations or company events required
  • Employee must regularly and reliably report to work on time each working day
