About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee Finance Shared Services daily operations
  • Supervise and develop employees
  • Manage workload balance between employees
  • Monitor compliance with internal and external requirements
  • Maintain configurations of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Oversee accounts payable invoicing, inquiries and research
  • Manage vendor payment processing by checks, ACH, and wires
  • Oversee accounts receivable invoicing, customer inquiries, payment application, credit and collections activities
  • Manage master data setup and maintenance for vendors, customers and general ledger
  • Oversee expense management for company credit cards and employee reimbursements
  • Manage consolidated cash and bank reconciliations
  • Oversee corporate finance month-end activities, forecasting and consolidation
  • Oversee payroll processing
  • Establish best practices and standardize centralized processes
  • Identify optimal team structures for Shared Services functional areas
  • Assess process productivity and identify opportunities to enhance value
  • Facilitate employee training on processes, work instructions and ERP
  • Assist in maintaining department process flows and work instructions
  • Develop and support performance, cost-savings and efficiency improvements
  • Establish departmental goals aligned with company vision and strategy
  • Establish Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators
  • Monitor and report performance against SLAs and KPIs
  • Support ERP phased implementation for Finance Shared Services functional areas
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure workflow and adherence to procedures and policies
  • Support external audit and review processes as needed
  • Complete special projects and other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years progressive experience in a dynamic Accounting/Finance environment
  • 5+ years successful supervisory experience
  • 5+ years accounting software experience
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 fundamentals training
  • Advanced user of D365 system
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build work instructions and process flows
  • Team management skills
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Problem solving ability
  • Ability to travel if required
  • Cost control (measurement and reporting)
