About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer Windows servers: installation, patching, hardening, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Manage VMware and Proxmox virtualization platforms
Administer and govern the Microsoft 365 tenant: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Entra ID
Provide Level 3 support for system, Microsoft 365, and application incidents
Standardize and continuously improve the server estate
Automate and industrialize processes using PowerShell, Python, internal tools, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines
Deploy and configure AI tools within the Microsoft 365 environment, particularly Copilot and agents
Prepare data and access permissions, and contribute to AI usage and security policies
Participate in cloud projects and migrations
Maintain SQL Server instances and, occasionally, PostgreSQL/Oracle environments
Manage backups, restores, replication, and disaster recovery/business continuity plans
Monitor, tune, and optimize databases
Secure environments through encryption, hardening, and audits

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 to 5 years of experience administering Windows Server systems (2016/2019/2022) in a virtualized environment
Hands-on experience with virtualization: VMware and/or Proxmox
Experience administering Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID
Solid SQL Server fundamentals: backups, maintenance, and an understanding of tuning and security
Strong scripting skills: PowerShell required; Python is a plus
Experience with Git
Interest in AI and its applications in business
Nice to have: Docker, IT security, SSRS
Detail-oriented, self-directed, documentation-focused, and service-minded
Working hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Availability to work a 35-hour week, with possible overtime
