About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in designing technical architecture solutions tailored to each client, in collaboration with experts in complementary technologies, under the functional authority of an overall and/or technical Project Manager
- Verify the assembly and installation of systems, as well as the installation and configuration of core software performed by technicians as part of new projects or upgrades
- Create virtual machines, particularly AVD and XenDesktop, and manage related incidents
- Administer the virtual machine fleet, including security, infrastructure, and various user profiles
- Administer all systems and networks to maintain operational readiness
- Diagnose the causes of malfunctions and propose fixes or workarounds
- Provide solutions designed to improve system performance
- Apply the company’s current technical procedures
- Assist colleagues in other departments and provide knowledge transfer on supported technologies
- Contribute to documenting and automating procedures
- Keep up to date with developments in the technologies used
- Update technical documentation and knowledge bases
- Senior profile: Develop the project strategy from design through closure
- Senior profile: Act as the technical point of contact and advisor for the client
Requirements
What you’ll need- Open to candidates with a two-year post-secondary degree, BTS, or DUT in Information Technology
- Demonstrated professional experience
- Experience administering desktops and virtual environments
- Knowledge of AVD and XenDesktop environments
- Systems and network administration skills
- Ability to diagnose malfunctions and propose fixes or workarounds
- Ability to administer the security, infrastructure, and various profiles of virtual machines
- Senior profile: Ability to establish the project strategy from design through closure
- Senior profile: Ability to act as the client’s technical point of contact and advisor
- Availability to work from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Fixed schedule of 35 hours per week
