Key responsibilities & impact

Join a product engineering team for a 12-week summer internship
Own a scoped project addressing a real client, provider, or business need
Contribute to the technical approach and production code
Work cross-functionally and ship a solution with meaningful impact
Participate in planning, stand-ups, code reviews, demos, and retrospectives
Investigate bugs, evaluate tradeoffs, and use data and customer context to improve solutions
Communicate progress, risks, decisions, and learnings throughout the internship
Present the project, technical approach, and impact at the end of the program
Help shape Grow’s founding New York City intern program for future interns

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
Expected graduation date of Fall 2027 or Spring 2028
Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, software design, and at least one general-purpose programming language
Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to generate, debug, and verify code while considering correctness, privacy, security, and impact
Hands-on experience through projects, research, hackathons, open-source contributions, student organizations, an internship, co-op, or similar experience
Experience with Python, TypeScript, React, or similar technologies is helpful but not required
Ability to work onsite from the NYC hub location 3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Authorized to work lawfully in the United States
