About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review and interpret payor contracts, amendments, and policies before new payor launches
- Document key contract terms and escalate ambiguous or risky language
- Serve as a resource for contract-related questions
- Provide accurate documentation for billing, eligibility, and payor launch teams
- Build and operationalize a contract repository and AI payor intelligence tooling
- Organize and migrate contract documentation
- Define key terms and validate AI search accuracy
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve flagged risks and close information gaps with payor partners
- Analyze reimbursement methodologies to support financial accuracy through upstream contract review
- Identify process improvements for managing a growing contract portfolio
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on familiarity with payor contracts, amendments, provider manuals, or payor policies
- Ability to source and navigate contract documents to extract relevant information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to convey complex contract information precisely to cross-functional partners
- Ability to identify ambiguous, risky, or consequential contract language
- Ability to escalate issues with clear context and recommended next steps
- Revenue cycle knowledge, including timely filing windows, reimbursement language, and claim routing
- Behavioral health payor experience is a plus
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States
