About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the evolution of FP&A and Controllership solutions
- Define and evolve the solutions roadmap, aligning priorities with the strategic objectives of the Finance Directorate and Finance VP
- Prioritize the backlog with a focus on returns, operational efficiency, and scalability gains in financial close and planning
- Establish and monitor KPIs for performance, data accuracy, adoption, and user satisfaction
- Serve as a subject-matter expert in consolidation, budgeting, and statutory reconciliations
- Ensure standard processes across SAP FI, CO, CO-PA, and S/4HANA modules, avoiding unnecessary customizations
- Investigate systemic and operational pain points end to end and address structural root causes
- Lead discovery, ideation, and journey mapping with key users, finance specialists, and engineering
- Act as the bridge between the Finance VP, engineering, and partner consultancies, translating needs into epics and user stories
- Co-lead product support, ensuring stability during statutory and management accounting close processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience working as a Product Manager
- Experience leading cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Experience conducting discovery, prioritization, and roadmap definition
- Strong knowledge of statutory close, management accounting close, accounting, costing, budgeting, and planning
- Practical and technical experience with the SAP ecosystem (S/4HANA, ECC, or Retail)
- Deep expertise in the SAP FI and CO/CO-PA modules
- Ability to lead difficult conversations, negotiate scope with senior stakeholders, and take a position with strong technical authority
- Experience mapping and integrating financial processes in highly operationally complex environments
- Experience with financial and operational workflows in Manufacturing, Logistics, or Retail
- Practical knowledge of FI/CO integration with MM, SD, or PP is a plus
- Experience migrating to SAP S/4HANA or implementing cloud-based financial solutions is a plus
- Experience with Corporate Performance Management solutions is a plus
- Knowledge of financial data tools or architectures is a plus
- CSPO or PSPO certifications are a plus
