Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a technical reference, solving complex problems, guiding architectural vision, and mitigating technical debt
Build back-end solutions focused on high performance, simplicity, code quality, and user experience
Develop innovative GenAI solutions for the e-commerce context, focused on driving business KPIs
Structure and test Proofs of Concept (PoCs) by applying new technologies and GenAI models
Write automated tests (unit and E2E), conduct code reviews, and apply pair programming practices
Monitor usage metrics, error telemetry, and application stability, ensuring proper tagging and data consistency
Design continuous improvements, identify technical optimization opportunities, and keep architecture and system documentation up to date
Actively participate in technical and product decisions with an ownership mindset, proposing viable solutions to strategic challenges
Work in synergy with the multidisciplinary team through transparent communication, daily collaboration, and a shared focus on problem-solving

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong, consistent hands-on expertise in Node.js or Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot for building scalable, efficient systems
Hands-on experience with the complete automated testing pyramid (unit, integration, and E2E tests)
Code quality management using SonarQube
Experience with relational databases (AWS RDS) and non-relational databases (DocumentDB and DynamoDB)
Extensive experience with the AWS ecosystem, including EC2, Secrets Manager, and ElastiCache for Redis
Proficiency in distributed and decoupled architectures using Apache Kafka and AWS SQS
Creation, optimization, and maintenance of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions
Implementation of comprehensive telemetry, including logs, metrics, and distributed tracing
Adoption of Secure Coding practices and proactive mitigation of vulnerabilities and technical incidents
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in agile squads (Scrum/Kanban) within multilingual engineering ecosystems
Analytical, inquisitive, and pragmatic mindset, with the ability to address complex business problems from a broad architectural perspective
