About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide legal advice to internal departments, executive leadership, and the Board regarding contractual matters
Prepare legal studies, opinions, and responses to legal inquiries to mitigate the company’s risks and exposure
Analyze, review, and draft domestic and international legal instruments, including contracts, amendments, terms, and manuals
Draft extrajudicial notices and counter-notices
Advise business areas on supporting and compliance-related documentation
Support litigation matters arising from contracts, particularly lease renewal actions
Participate in meetings and contract negotiations with internal departments and opposing parties
Map contractual risks and report them to executive leadership, anticipating and/or minimizing future issues
Draft and implement standard contract templates to ensure the Company’s interests are protected, increasing efficiency and reducing the time required to review and approve legal instruments
Act as the focal point for contract management systems (Fluig and Tedesco), implementing improvements and assisting users with questions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Law
Experience with contracts at companies and/or large law firms
Specialization in Business, Civil, Corporate, or another area of Law is preferred
Full admission to the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) as an attorney
Availability for occasional travel
