About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to develop comprehensive test strategies for new features and releases across web, API, and mobile platforms
  • Create and update automated tests as features change
  • Incrementally expand automation coverage based on the backlog and continuously reduce manual regression scope
  • Increase automated test coverage for end-to-end, smoke, and regression tests across UI, backend, and mobile components
  • Develop ad-hoc testing scripts as necessary
  • Address flaky tests by prioritizing fixes
  • Cover manually caught and customer-reported bugs with automated tests

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Understanding of trading workflows, including order matching, order lifecycle, market data, trade data, and risk
  • Experience testing REST API, Web-Sockets, GraphQL, and JSON-RPC protocols, especially in trading systems
  • Familiarity with UI automation tools including Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, and BDD Cucumber
  • Familiarity with backend automation tools including Rest-Assured, Karate, PyTest, Postman, and SOAPUI
  • Familiarity with mobile automation tools including Appium, Detox, and Katalon
  • Familiarity with test management tools including Testrail, Jira Xray, Zephyr, and Allure
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and AWS CodeBuild
  • Familiarity with log analysis tools including Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, and ELK stack
  • Familiarity with Firebase, AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack, and LambdaTest
  • Proficiency in Python or Golang and TypeScript
