About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide high-standard scientific and technical expertise for local medical information
- Interact with Key External Experts and Key Opinion Leaders
- Provide medical and scientific input for regional business strategy
- Develop and sustain networks with appropriate Health Care Practitioners
- Plan, facilitate, and conduct CMEs, symposia, trainings, workshops, scientific meetings, speaker tours, and product-specific campaigns
- Deliver consistent on-label scientific presentations at medical education meetings
- Support Scientific Engagement activities according to Medical Plans
- Develop expertise in Hepatology and support activities related to GSK brands
- Maintain current knowledge of Hepatology, GSK molecules, and product information for on-label communications
- Support feasibility assessments of research sites and develop concept notes, proposals, budgets, data-collection tools, and monitoring tools for field studies
- Provide medical input into brand strategy development and execution
- Support the Named Safety Contact in strengthening Hepatology pharmacovigilance
Requirements
What you’ll need- MBBS with postgraduate qualification
- MD (Postgraduate); preferred specialization in Pharmacology, Public Health, Paediatrics, General Medicine, or Community Medicine
- 1–2 years in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Hepatology or Gastroenterology
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and the local language
- Experience presenting scientific topics in different settings
- Understanding of ICH-GCP principles and internal SOPs
- Ability to understand scientific methods and experimental design
- Understanding of regulations related to promotional practices
- Medical degree
- Ability to work in a highly technical and complex environment
- Ability to interface directly with sales, marketing, external customers, and other functions
- Ability to adapt to evolving regulations and GSK policies
- Strong influencing and stakeholder-engagement skills
