About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, target, and execute business within the local community to elevate ViiV's approach to HIV prevention and treatment
  • Identify and lead community-related initiatives aligned with territory-level sales in partnership with matrix teams
  • Deliver branded and unbranded content to Allied Healthcare Professionals and patients/consumers
  • Deliver clinical information about long-acting injectables in HIV prevention and treatment
  • Deliver promotional activities for long-acting injectables, engaging communities and organizations disproportionately affected by HIV
  • Engage social workers, case managers, treatment educators, discharge planners, outreach workers, benefits/implementation administrators, and other community-linked stakeholders
  • Provide culturally relevant resources for discussing PrEP and treatment options
  • Develop community networks and pathways to PrEP and treatment linkage to care
  • Align and execute tailored local-market business plans in partnership with sales
  • Coordinate with Sales, Clinical Educators, Field Reimbursement Managers, and Medical teams
  • Maintain a portfolio-based selling mindset and internal communication loops
  • Adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals using KPIs, scaling successes, and business problem solving
  • Develop and foster relationships with influential customers and thought leaders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree required
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience including specialty/HIV experience, or 5+ years of experience in HIV/AIDS or public health community-based organizations
  • Ability to travel domestically as necessary, including nights, weekends, and overnight travel, with the majority of time spent in market
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Health Policy, Health, or Allied Health fields preferred
  • Strong connection to and understanding of community needs, specifically HIV prevention or HIV treatment
  • Enthusiasm to promote new long acting injectables to key communities of need
  • Demonstrated experience developing strategic business plans with specific, measurable, action-oriented objectives
  • Demonstrated experience navigating, organizing, and influencing key stakeholders
  • Experience establishing community networks and pathways to expand outreach to underrepresented populations
  • Experience defining and executing market development strategies
