About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead GSK’s global Nature strategy, including vision, objectives and roadmap
  • Oversee Nature initiatives across key business areas with priorities, KPIs, governance and business ownership
  • Lead the Nature & Partnerships team through coaching, line leadership and succession planning
  • Partner with Supply Chain, R&D, Procurement, Real Estate, EHS and Finance to embed nature considerations into decisions
  • Build external partnerships to support strategy delivery and strengthen GSK’s influence
  • Support Nature-related governance and reporting into executive forums
  • Track external policy, regulatory, standards and investor expectations on Nature
  • Represent GSK’s Nature agenda internally and externally in stakeholder engagement, communications and ESG disclosures
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in Nature approaches
  • Manage Nature programme budgets and influence related investment decisions
  • Deliver Nature strategy and programmes across GSK’s regions and business units

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, management, sustainability, public policy, science, healthcare, or a related discipline
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Typically 10+ years of experience in business leadership, strategy, sustainability, ESG, risk, operations, or related fields
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and enterprise programmes
  • Track record shaping and delivering enterprise strategies in a complex global organisation
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and integrate sustainability considerations into commercial and operational decisions
  • Experience building trusted internal and external stakeholder relationships and using partnerships and networks to advance objectives
  • Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, talent development and capability building
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior executives and external audiences
  • Understanding of ESG, climate and emerging nature expectations
  • Ability to manage complex programmes and prioritise across workstreams
  • High integrity, strategic judgement and confidence working with emerging standards and incomplete data
