About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own B2B customer relationships across large and complex healthcare delivery networks
- Serve as primary liaison with major customers and engage clinical and non-clinical C/D-level stakeholders
- Understand customer needs and deliver customized value propositions
- Meet or exceed sales objectives within the assigned Central Pennsylvania territory
- Develop, implement, and execute integrated territory business plans for key accounts
- Provide scientific and clinical information on hepatology disease states and approved products
- Deliver clinical brand sales presentations to physicians, APPs, medical staff, and clinic personnel
- Build partnerships with IDNs, academic centers, and key healthcare decision-makers
- Identify and engage key influencers while meeting customer interaction expectations
- Plan activities to achieve call metrics and optimize customer coverage and frequency
- Understand healthcare delivery systems, physician hierarchies, pharmacy personnel, and clinical nursing staff
- Develop product and competitor knowledge and monitor local and regional market trends
- Analyze trends, establish goals, and create product launch business plans
- Collaborate with sales peers to share best practices and strategies
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy and analyze sales activity and territory performance
- Develop territory plans with the Regional Sales Director, brand team, and support partners
- Manage the territory budget for sales and marketing activities
- Complete administrative tasks and execute brand strategy within the assigned geographic area
- Participate in training and development programs
- Maintain compliance with corporate and industry policies and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum 5 years of biotech/pharmaceutical experience for Account Manager 6, or minimum 3 years for Account Manager 7
- Travel up to 50% of the time, with potential overnight stays
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
- Proven success in product launch sales preferred
- Hepatology experience preferred
- Documented track record of achieving sales targets and goals
- Expertise in account selling and managing complex sales processes
- Deep knowledge of the Health Systems business model, organizational structure, stakeholder roles, and decision-making processes
- Experience calling on C/D-level stakeholders within large, complex healthcare delivery networks
- Experience with lateral leadership in a highly matrixed organization
- Ability to analyze data and trends to create actionable business plans
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to regulatory, legal, and compliance standards
- Exceptional presentation and selling skills, with strong business acumen
- Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, or Tagalog preferred
