About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review assigned assets and processes daily to identify deviations, emerging trends, and potential failures
Diagnose issues and communicate findings to site personnel
Independently identify optimization opportunities for assigned areas and assets
Engage division subject matter experts on value and path forward
Collaborate with CSC teammates and strategic partners to solve complex operational and process challenges
Identify opportunities to use AI and advanced analytics to automate issue detection, generate actionable insights, and reduce manual analysis
Partner with Corrugated leadership to define support strategies and success metrics
Provide remote monitoring and support for Georgia-Pacific facilities across North America
Potentially guide other remote engineers as engagement and business needs evolve

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science or higher in Engineering
3 or more years of experience working within or supporting manufacturing teams
Experience presenting complex information to a variety of audiences
Experience using Power BI, OSIsoft PI, or other industrial data and analytics platforms
Willing and able to travel up to 25% to operating facilities
3 or more years of experience troubleshooting processes or equipment in a continuous manufacturing environment
Process Control experience with DCS and PLC
