About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the status and schedule of all customer Orders, Returns, Complaints and Requests
  • Ensure customer inquiries and issues are addressed and resolved to completion
  • Ensure accuracy of data and requirements in SAP
  • Manage execution, requirements, and maintenance of Customer Programs
  • Resolve order-related issues with intercompany departments
  • Issue quotations and follow up on their status
  • Prepare and utilize analysis reports to improve programs and customer communication/follow-up
  • Prepare Order, RMA, and Forecast status reports
  • Back up Account/Sales Managers during travel
  • Update customer portals
  • Issue open order ECOs
  • Partner with Sales Account Managers and customers to manage quoting, track orders, and keep programs moving forward
  • Turn data into clear insights and provide timely, reliable customer support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing service role
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a high volume of work effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred
  • Experience working in SAP
  • Intermediate Excel skills for reporting, data tracking, and analysis
  • Experience with similar optical connectivity products
  • Experience in connectors, high-tech, or manufacturing industries
  • Familiarity with order-to-cash processes and production environments
  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools
  • Availability to work standard business hours aligned with the Eastern Time Zone
  • Must successfully pass a drug test where required by state law
  • Employment uses E-Verify
