  • Manage Group Benefits Purchase applications and the aligned Group Benefits Purchase business function
  • Lead a diverse team and assume full responsibility for team development
  • Partner with senior business leaders to develop and execute the Group Benefits Purchase/Underwriting strategy
  • Deliver initiatives, manage financials, and ensure operational stability

  • Manage finances for initiatives, team, and function
  • Oversee technology for Group Benefits Purchase applications
  • Drive performance, efficiency, and effectiveness across engineering and development teams
  • Provide strategic direction for technology initiatives
  • Monitor Purchase application performance and recommend enhancements using data and insights
  • Drive simplification, automation, and end-to-end transformation of Purchase applications and platforms, including AI-enabled transformation
  • Monitor technology trends and identify opportunities to change the ecosystem
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and leaders across Group Benefits and Guardian Life
  • Anticipate and respond to technology evolutions, industry trends, and emerging technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven business-oriented and technology executive knowledge
  • Strong understanding of how technology can drive ROI and business growth
  • Ability to provide visionary direction and lead IT and application delivery departments
  • Experience directly delivering applications that improve customer experiences and drive revenue
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end customer experiences and processes
  • Ability to leverage technology to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness
  • Excellent planning, execution, and technology project oversight skills
  • Ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to objectives
  • Current knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Significant experience in Agile and global large-scale programs
  • Significant experience in AI Product Delivery Lifecycle transformation and AI-enabled software engineering
  • Significant experience managing third-party outsourcers and managed service relationships
  • Significant experience in software development engineering and release management
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
