About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team
- Drive Guesty’s inorganic growth strategy through mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, and ecosystem partnerships
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to accelerate Guesty’s growth
- Lead complex transactions from sourcing through execution and closing
- Develop strategic partnerships that strengthen Guesty’s market position and expand its ecosystem
- Own the end-to-end M&A lifecycle, including target sourcing, valuation, deal structuring, due diligence, negotiations, and closing
- Define investment theses and prioritize opportunities with the CEO and CFO
- Build and oversee financial models, including DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and accretion/dilution analysis
- Assess transaction economics, risks, and potential value creation
- Lead transaction structuring and negotiate Letters of Intent and other key deal terms
- Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout transaction processes
- Lead buy-side due diligence with Finance, Legal, Product, Technology, and other stakeholders
- Identify, develop, and structure strategic partnerships and commercial alliances
- Evaluate opportunities with technology providers, global platforms, and strategic partners
- Develop and execute post-merger integration plans
- Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, emerging technologies, and consolidation opportunities
- Prepare and present investment recommendations, transaction analyses, and strategic business cases to executive leadership and the Board of Directors
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and manage a globally distributed team
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of relevant experience across Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or related M&A-focused roles
- Demonstrated expertise in executing complex transactions
- Proven experience leading cross-border technology acquisitions from sourcing through closing
- Ideally, a track record of 5+ completed mid-market transactions
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring capabilities
- Experience operating in or working closely with global B2B SaaS or technology companies, ideally within a high-growth environment
- Ability to identify strategic growth opportunities, evaluate potential synergies, and structure partnerships
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex negotiations and influence senior stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Product, Technology, and executive leadership
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage distributed teams across multiple geographies and time zones
- Enthusiasm for AI and willingness to actively leverage AI tools
- Based in Israel
- Excellent corporate English communication skills
- Flexibility for international travel
