About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Federal government clients in improving mission effectiveness and organizational efficiency
  • Work in a team to create and present quality deliverables supporting essential project workstreams
  • Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data
  • Identify gaps and trends and make recommendations related to baseline performance, structure, best practices, and benchmarks
  • Collaborate with teams to solve client challenges
  • Participate in and lead client meetings
  • Document progress, next steps, responsibilities, and action items
  • Support development and sequencing of future discussions and briefings
  • Develop solutions to organizational challenges and optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop work products synthesizing information into client improvement recommendations
  • Communicate solutions and strategies through reports and presentations
  • Support data collection on organizational structure, processes, policies, technology, and culture
  • Research client source documentation and industry-leading practices
  • Conduct client interviews and develop audience-specific interview protocols
  • Facilitate client work groups and information sessions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years
  • Minimum Degree Required: Master's Degree
  • Must still be enrolled in an accredited advanced degree program, graduating between December 2026 or Summer of 2027
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
  • No current or future sponsorship is available for this position
  • Ability to work out of Arlington, VA or at a client site in the DC Metro area
  • Preferred majors: Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or a social science discipline with proven academic success
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and independent work style
  • Ability to assume ownership of significant portions of tasks while collaborating with a close-knit team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong conceptual, quantitative, and qualitative analytical skills
  • Strong interest in business development and commitment to supporting clients with additional services and effort
