About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end finance transformation projects for Department of War clients
  • Assess current-state financial processes, identify pain points, and design future-state solutions
  • Modernize financial operations, improve transparency, and strengthen performance management
  • Drive adoption of Tableau, Power BI, PowerApps, ServiceNow, Databricks, Snowflake, and Palantir
  • Build dashboards, automate workflows, and develop AI-driven models for financial data analysis
  • Advise senior client executives on federal financial policies and audit readiness
  • Manage and mentor project teams across analytics, automation, and financial management
  • Promote organizational readiness and adoption through structured change management strategies
  • Deliver actionable insights, improve operational efficiency, enable auditability, and modernize financial processes in alignment with federal standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD SECRET security clearance; approved adjudication required prior to onboarding
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
  • Four (4) or more years of experience in financial management consulting or related roles
  • Demonstrated expertise in finance and accounting operations and transformation initiatives
  • Hands-on experience with data analytics, automation, and AI tools applied to financial management use cases
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management capabilities
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and deliver high-impact solutions in fast-paced environments
  • Active SECRET or higher-level clearance preferred
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or Project Management (PMP, CSM, SAFe) preferred
  • Experience with Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik preferred
  • Background in change management or organizational design within financial environments preferred
