About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead financial transformation initiatives and partner with senior government stakeholders to modernize financial operations
Manage project teams and workstreams, ensuring high-quality deliverables, effective resource utilization, and successful execution
Lead the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft 365 Power Platform solutions
Oversee performance metrics, executive dashboards, and data visualization solutions
Improve financial management processes, tools, controls, and reporting through technology-enabled solutions
Lead current-state assessments, stakeholder interviews, process mapping, and future-state design
Develop and manage project plans, work breakdown structures, schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies
Serve as primary client leadership contact and provide updates, recommendations, and strategic guidance
Incorporate financial management standards, federal regulations, internal controls, and audit-readiness requirements into solutions
Lead financial automation, advanced analytics, data visualization, and AI capabilities
Coordinate financial metrics, dashboards, low-code applications, workflow automation, and AI-enabled solutions
Mentor and develop consultants and senior consultants through coaching, feedback, and technical guidance
Support proposal development, solutioning, client relationship management, and new opportunity identification

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust; approved adjudication required prior to onboarding
Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field
Six (6) or more years of experience supporting business transformation, financial management, audit, accounting, data analytics, process improvement, or related consulting engagements
Experience leading project teams and managing client-facing workstreams in a consulting or federal environment
Experience leading client meetings, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and presenting recommendations to senior executives and government leadership
Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing junior staff
Experience with SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Tableau
Experience using project management methodologies and best practices
Experience documenting, assessing, and redesigning business processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to create and review technical and non-technical deliverables
Experience supporting federal financial management organizations within DoD, DHS, or other civilian agencies
Experience analyzing data using Python, R, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar analytics platforms
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or AWS
Experience designing and implementing enterprise reporting, business intelligence, or analytics solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
Experience leading change management, organizational transformation, or business process reengineering initiatives
Experience supporting proposal development, capture activities, or account growth efforts
Ability to identify innovative applications of automation, analytics, and AI
Desire and ability to quickly learn emerging technologies
Master's degree and professional certifications such as PMP, CSM, SAFe, CPA, CGFM, CDFM, or Lean Six Sigma are nice to have
