About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Solve complex and strategic issues faced by hospitals, health systems, and medical groups
Work on multiple assignments across healthcare projects, including strategic planning, healthcare reform readiness, physician/hospital integration, financial/risk modeling, and merger and acquisition design
Assist seasoned consultants in developing project approaches, strategies, and work plans
Perform detailed quantitative analysis
Build Excel models and prepare operational and financial projections
Conduct stakeholder interviews
Supply data and quantitative information supporting project findings and recommendations
Prepare project materials and reports
Work with larger teams and lead presentations of final deliverables to client sponsors
Assist in designing and implementing recommended solutions
Collaborate with project teams, Guidehouse Associate Directors, and Executives
Communicate effectively with Guidehouse management and client staff

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree
1+ years of prior relevant consulting and/or health industry experience
Experience developing analytical models and structuring methodologies
Experience performing diagnostic, analytical, and quantitative tasks
Demonstrated management of smaller work streams or deliverables
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
Ability and willingness to travel 75% or more
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or health-related field
Strong written and oral communication skills
Significant knowledge of the healthcare industry
Track record of strong client service
Proven track record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects
Efficiency, flexibility, innovative problem-solving skills, high motivation, and excellent organizational skills
Ability to work well independently and within team structures
Financial modeling/planning skills
Master’s degree from an accredited university in business or health-related field preferred
