About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support DoD clients in optimizing their internal control environment and solving client pain points
Support audit remediation activities, including developing or updating process documentation such as narratives and flow charts
Develop and implement corrective action plans to address findings
Perform recurring testing, including testing internal controls
Design and execute internal control programs
Provide targeted area support based on Component, such as assets and liabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance
Candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or related field
Minimum one (1) year of FM-related experience
One of the following professional certifications is nice to have: CPA, CGFM or CDFM
DoW experience is nice to have
Experience with financial statement audits, audit remediation, or internal control implementation is nice to have
