About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end operational and business analysis for large-scale federal loan servicing programs
  • Ensure alignment across operations, technology, policy, and compliance requirements
  • Support key business initiatives from discovery through implementation
  • Gather, analyze, document, and prioritize business requirements with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership
  • Drive business process reengineering and continuous improvement across loan lifecycle functions
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and operational gaps and develop evidence-based process improvement recommendations
  • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions, capture efforts, and executive briefings
  • Support and lead proposal development, technical solutioning, and capture strategy
  • Draft technical approaches, KPI compliance plans, and operational models
  • Mentor and guide junior staff and analysts
  • Provide operational leadership across delivery teams, ensuring quality, accountability, and performance outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with demonstrated lead-level responsibilities
  • An active Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) or ability to obtain one
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and documentation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical audiences, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Experience leading business analysis on enterprise or large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or other project delivery methodologies
  • Proficiency with common business analysis tools and collaboration platforms
  • Experience with automation, workflow tools, or analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, AI-enabled process improvement, workflow orchestration tools)
  • Prior management consulting experience
  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or other relevant certifications
  • MBA or MA/MS degree in a related field
