About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and mature the global extended workforce program, including policies, decision frameworks, operating models, approval paths, and escalation processes.
  • Advise business leaders and HR partners on workforce channel selection based on business needs, timing, cost, risk, compliance, and long-term workforce strategy.
  • Own the enterprise preferred vendor strategy and governance program for direct-hire agencies, staffing suppliers, EOR providers, and teaming partners.
  • Lead supplier evaluations, performance reviews, scorecards, RFP support, consolidation efforts, and service-level expectations.
  • Partner with Procurement on contracts and commercial terms.
  • Build worker classification and independent contractor decision frameworks.
  • Coordinate classification, compliance, and risk decisions with Legal, Procurement, HR, and other partners.
  • Map current- and future-state processes and lead program improvements, automation, requirements definition, implementation planning, testing, and cross-functional user acceptance testing.
  • Partner with Workforce Intelligence and Finance to establish reporting on external workforce activity, spend, supplier performance, program adoption, and governance outcomes.
  • Drive adoption of standardized processes and serve as the primary governance partner across Talent Acquisition, Shared Services, Finance, Procurement, Legal, IT, HR, and the business.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree; Four (4) years additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • 6+ years of experience in contingent or extended workforce management, workforce planning, supplier management, talent acquisition, HR operations, program management, or a related field.
  • Experience building, operating, or governing an internally managed contingent workforce program.
  • Experience partnering with staffing agencies, EOR providers, direct-hire firms, independent contractor providers, or other extended workforce suppliers.
  • Knowledge of contractor compliance, worker classification, and contingent workforce models.
  • Experience with Workday, workforce analytics, automation, or related workforce technology.
  • Experience with preferred vendor programs, scorecards, RFPs, or supplier performance reviews.
  • Professional services, consulting, government contracting, or highly matrixed enterprise experience.
  • Experience designing governance frameworks, operating models, or enterprise processes.
  • Ability to influence leaders and cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong program management, process improvement, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Up to 10% travel required.
