About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides project management support to the Federal Aviation Administration’s Office of Commercial Space Transportation
  • Manages project files, work products, workload data, stakeholder correspondence, and schedules for AST’s Office of Operational Safety
  • Coordinates meetings and captures notes
  • Tracks and manages operational and workload data
  • Prepares data, reports, evaluations, and analyses on a recurring basis and in response to requests from FAA and external stakeholders
  • Conducts research and analyses and develops recommendations regarding policy or operational issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD PUBLIC TRUST
  • Must be a US Citizen due to nature of client engagements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Six (6) years of experience; an MBA or a master’s degree in a relevant field may be substituted for 3 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience using Power Platform, especially Power Apps and Power BI, Tableau, and Jira desired
  • Experience working in the aviation industry or aerospace sector desired
