About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee daily operations of project(s) and manage project staff, including onsite Team Members when applicable
- Develop, implement, manage and meet or exceed client and Company operational goals
- Coordinate and conduct interviews and recommend new hires to the Operations Manager
- Train, mentor and support Team Members
- Complete monthly account reviews for each patient account representative
- Ensure Team Member and project compliance with HIPAA standards and client/company standards
- Review client project reports generated by supervised Team Members
- Monitor phone calls, attendance, punctuality and productivity
- Conduct weekly team meetings
- Review and approve monthly client invoices for accuracy
- Identify and communicate trends and issues to the Operations Manager and client
- Work with management to develop policies
- Communicate Team Member non-compliance to the Operations Manager
- Conduct disciplinary counseling and performance improvement plans as required
- Complete annual staff evaluations
- Take supervisor calls when Team Members need assistance with patients
- Complete assigned projects in a timely manner
- Assist staff members with questions in the absence of their Project Supervisor
- Meet or exceed the project's revenue goal
- Work closely with Managing Consultants and Operations Managers on client business processes
- Possible travel
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree and a minimum 7 years relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree
- Relevant experience from a healthcare provider, payor, professional business services or an outsourcing company
- A minimum of two years of people leadership experience
- PC skills in a Windows environment
- Knowledge and utilization of desktop applications including Word and Excel
- Ability to initiate and follow through on projects and work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Revenue Cycle experience and knowledge of managing key performance indicators
- Ability to comply with HIPAA standards and client/company policies
- Up to 10% travel may be required
- No security clearance required
