About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Help Defense and National Security clients optimize financial management structures
Transform business processes and enhance operational efficiency
Improve transparency and performance management
Promote change management and compliance with Federal laws and regulations
Assess current-state processes and identify pain points
Develop flow charts and process maps
Gather and document requirements and user stories
Collaborate with developers and client stakeholders
Support testing activities and track results
Develop SOPs, job aids, and training materials
Provide routine progress reporting
Facilitate internal meetings and client-facing discussions
Support Agile ceremonies, including daily standups and retrospectives
Interact with client senior management and develop technical, business development, client service, and people-development skills

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust; approved adjudication required prior to onboarding
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, engineering, business analytics, or a related field
Three or more years of experience in business analysis, consulting, financial management, process improvement, product management, project management, or similar
Ability to synthesize information quickly, learn new skills, evaluate problems, and apply varied solutions
Ability to lead client-facing discussions and meetings
Experience supporting client meetings and presenting recommendations to senior-level leadership
Knowledge of project management best practices
Experience working in teams to produce high-impact work products
Experience documenting and evaluating business processes and recommending improvements
Experience conducting research into client problems and collaboratively formulating solutions
Certifications or strong understanding of project management, Agile, Scrum, or change management concepts are desirable
Five or more years of relevant experience is desirable
Experience with change management or organizational design, especially in financial and human resource environments, is desirable
Up to 10% travel required
