About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Help Defense and National Security clients optimize financial management through business process transformation, operational efficiency, transparency, performance management, change management, and compliance with federal laws and regulations
Collaborate with team members and senior stakeholders to modernize financial processes through innovative solutions
Lead implementation of Microsoft 365 Power Platform tools, including Power Apps solutions, and present solutions for iterative stakeholder feedback
Create performance metrics and interactive dashboards using Microsoft Office Suite, Power Platform, SharePoint, Power BI, and other tools
Identify and implement process improvements for financial tools and templates
Assess business processes and procedures, coordinate current-state assessments, review documentation, and recommend future-state solutions
Assist with project plans for end-to-end development efforts and ensure realistic timelines are communicated and followed
Communicate project task updates to senior-level executive clients and confirm shared understanding
Embed financial management standards into solution design and development, ensuring federal policy alignment, audit readiness, and operational integrity
Develop financial automation, data analytics, data visualization, and AI capabilities, including dashboards, low-code applications, user interfaces, and AI models for financial data

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; approved adjudication required prior to onboarding
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, engineering, business analytics, or a related field
Two (2) years of experience in business transformation, financial management, data analytics, audit or accounting
Experience with low-code and no-code technology platforms, including SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Tableau
Heightened attention to detail and ability to create and edit technical and non-technical written work products and graphical presentations
Experience leading client meetings and presenting recommendations to senior-level leadership
Experience utilizing project management best practices
Experience documenting and evaluating business processes and making recommendations for process improvements
Master's degree in Business Analytics preferred
Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or project management (e.g., PMP, CSM, SAFe) and/or strong understanding of these concepts, or interest in obtaining these certifications
Experience analyzing data using Python, R, SQL, and Databricks
Familiarity or proficiency with AWS or Azure
Ability to develop visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik
Experience with change management or organizational design, especially in financial environments
Ability to develop technical skills related to analytics and automation
Up to 10% travel required
